Director of Data Architecture
Job Summary
Leading the strategy and design for enterprise data architecture, the full-time remote Director of Data Architecture will manage data governance, modeling, and quality initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, cloud-native data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards
- Lead the design of scalable cloud-native data platforms and enterprise data products
- Establish and lead the enterprise data governance framework, including policies and stewardship processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or data engineering
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture or technical teams
- Expert-level SQL development and strong hands-on experience with Python and Apache Spark
- Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures on Azure or AWS
