Director of Data Architecture

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Director of Data Architecture will manage enterprise data architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data solutions align with business objectives while maintaining scalability and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and analytics teams to develop data architecture strategies that drive business value
• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture in collaboration with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering leaders
• Establish governance frameworks and standards for enterprise information and domain architecture to promote consistency and interoperability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• 8+ years of experience in designing enterprise-scale data architectures or data-intensive solutions
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture concepts, including data modeling and governance
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems through effective data and technology solution design
• Experience in collaborating across engineering, analytics, and business teams to shape decisions and build alignment
