Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering & Analytics to lead data infrastructure and marketing technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in data availability, platform reliability, and time-to-insight for product and marketing
• Lead a team of engineers to build data systems and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data products
• Architect solutions for data ingestion, orchestration, and analytics using AWS-native services

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 10+ years in data engineering roles with experience in big data and ETL pipelines
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies and technical security fundamentals
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and database technologies
