Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive improvements in data availability, platform reliability, and time-to-insight across product and marketing use cases
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers while fostering a high-performance culture
• Architect solutions for data ingestion, orchestration, warehousing, and analytics using AWS-native services

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 10+ years in data engineering roles with experience in big data, ETL pipelines, and orchestration
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies and technical security fundamentals
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services, SQL, and database technologies
