Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering specializing in Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and delivery of a cloud-native data platform foundation, including Snowflake on AWS
• Manage and mentor cross-functional engineering teams responsible for platform services related to data ingestion and DevSecOps
• Define and enforce scalable patterns and standards for environment management, security, and cost optimization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Information Technology, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience
• Experience in application development, support roles, and management
• Preferred experience in financial services and integration of third-party solutions
• Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Agile Project Manager
• Knowledge of Snowflake, AWS, and DevSecOps practices
