Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering to lead their data engineering team and optimize data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and architects while executing the data engineering strategy
• Oversee the design and development of scalable data pipelines and manage the enterprise data platform
• Implement data governance and optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost efficiency

Required Qualifications

• BS and above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and 3+ years in agile software development
• Proven leadership experience in growing a team of data engineers
• Expertise in building data platforms in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture and data governance frameworks
