Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the internal data ecosystem, including data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
• Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows and maintain data architecture for analytics readiness
• Oversee Power BI reporting and visualization, ensuring scalable and reusable reporting templates

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, transitioning into a Solution Architect or BI Director role
• Expert proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and Advanced SQL
• Expert proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and M
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex modeling
• Conceptual understanding of Python and API workflows for automation oversight
