Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering to evolve and maintain its data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain the company's data infrastructure, overseeing ETL/ELT pipelines and data reliability
• Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring code quality and project delivery
• Translate complex data metrics into clear narratives and visuals for stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a management role
• Expert-level knowledge of Python and SQL, with experience in workflow orchestration tools
• Proven experience with cloud data warehouses and transformation layers
• Familiarity with major SaaS platforms and understanding of revenue metrics
• Ability to operate autonomously and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
