Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering specializing in Data Streaming & Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Data Streaming Engineering organization, overseeing real-time and CDC pipelines
• Collaborate with architects to influence platform designs and ensure integration with various data systems
• Manage high-performing teams, translating business priorities into engineering plans and ensuring quality delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering
• 5+ years in engineering leadership roles managing senior engineers
• Strong experience with Kafka and/or Striim, and integrating streaming pipelines with major databases
• Proven track record in building and operating scalable data streaming platforms
