Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Data Engineering Streaming and Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Data Streaming Engineering organization, overseeing real-time and CDC pipelines
• Partner with architects to influence platform designs and establish standards for streaming architecture
• Manage high-performing engineering teams and ensure delivery quality and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of professional experience in data or software engineering
• 8+ years in engineering leadership roles managing senior engineers
• Strong experience with Kafka and/or Striim, including CDC architectures
• Proven experience building and operating data streaming platforms at scale
