Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Director of Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, quality assurance specialists, and machine learning engineers
• Architect, design, and implement scalable data pipelines using tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran
• Define and implement data quality standards and governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, including 3 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in data warehousing technologies, particularly Snowflake
• Strong expertise in data transformation tools such as dbt
• Experience with data integration platforms like Fivetran
