Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering, ML & AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of the data platform architecture and ensure data reliability and governance
• Define and execute the ML/AI product roadmap, developing production ML systems and establishing MLOps practices
• Drive department engagement and performance through leadership, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI, with 3-5 years in a leadership role
• Education in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Proven track record of delivering ML/AI product features at scale in a SaaS or data-platform environment
• Experience managing large-scale data and AI projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Familiarity with ESG frameworks and standards such as GRESB, GHG Protocol, or ENERGY STAR is a plus
