Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of scalable data products and platform capabilities for high-quality insights
• Oversee the development of efficient data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on Databricks
• Guide and mentor a team of data engineers, promoting accountability and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or software engineering
• 3-5 years of experience leading data engineering teams and delivering complex data initiatives
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern lakehouse architectures
• Proficient in data modeling and modern data practices such as CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
