Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Engineering & Data Science Engineering to lead data and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Engineering and Data Science Engineering function, setting vision and strategy
• Build and evolve scalable data platforms and BI architecture using Azure technologies
• Mentor and grow data engineering and data science talent while establishing strong engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, or Data Science Engineering teams at a Director level
• Deep expertise in the Azure BI/data technology stack, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Strong understanding of data engineering architecture and scalable data pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems through data and analytics
• Strong mentoring and people leadership skills with experience in developing high-performing teams
