Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading data transformation initiatives, the full-time hybrid or remote Director of Data Engineering will design and implement robust data architecture frameworks, overseeing the enterprise data ecosystem and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of data engineering strategies and architecture roadmaps
• Provide technical leadership for the data engineering team, ensuring best practices in data pipelines and transformations
• Establish governance frameworks for AI data use, ensuring compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing data engineering teams
• Extensive experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data solutions
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques, including Data Vault and Data Mesh concepts
