Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a team of data professionals, the full-time remote Director of Data Engineering will manage the development of scalable data platforms, collaborate with stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps, and ensure the delivery of high-quality data engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for the enterprise data platform
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and align priorities for data and analytics capabilities
• Drive the successful delivery of data engineering projects from planning to production support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering
• 5+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
• Advanced expertise with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Power BI
• Deep understanding of data architecture, ELT/ETL pipelines, and data quality frameworks
