Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

Driving end-to-end data requirements and quality, the full-time remote Director of Data Engineering will lead the data analysis team, resolve operational data issues, and ensure trusted analytics across the Medicare Advantage platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data requirements gathering and stakeholder analysis to create actionable specifications
• Initiate and sustain data quality improvement processes across health plan data domains
• Direct the triage and resolution of data operations issues affecting production environments

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in data analysis, operations, or management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in a healthcare payer or Medicare Advantage environment with exposure to health plan data
• Proven ability in leading data requirements gathering and quality improvement across complex data environments
• Experience resolving production and operational data issues in regulated environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
