Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operationalize and promote programs for Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security, and Data Privacy
• Lead and develop the Data Governance team while collaborating with business and technology leaders
• Define and implement Data Governance principles, standards, and strategies aligned with organizational goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education; Master's preferred
• Typically 8+ years of experience in Data Governance and Management, with 3+ years leading a Data Governance program
• 10+ years of experience in complex enterprise data architecture efforts
• 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, or similar domains
• Prior experience in defining data architecture principles and optimizing processes for operational excellence
