Director of Data Governance

Job Summary

To support a multi-year effort in maturing the enterprise Data Program, the full-time remote Director of Data Governance will develop and operationalize the Data Governance Program, enhance data usability and security, and drive cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the multi-year data strategy into actionable roadmaps and implementation plans
• Establish and operationalize data governance structures, including stewardship models and data quality processes
• Partner with technology teams to evolve the Data Lake and Unified Data Platform for improved data accessibility

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields
• Minimum of 4 years of management experience
• Experience in developing enterprise data governance programs or data quality initiatives
• Experience supporting platform modernization in data lakes or analytical environments
