Director of Data Platform

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and architect the Azure Fabric data platform, including governance and security frameworks
• Lead a surge team to build and implement the platform, ensuring productivity and timely delivery
• Establish and maintain a customer-facing analytics portal and support the BI team with governed semantic models

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on data platform experience, with 3+ years on modern cloud lakehouses or warehouses
• Production experience with Azure Fabric or equivalent Azure data services
• Deep knowledge of Power BI semantic modeling and modern data engineering practices
• Experience with multi-tenant and regulated data architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
