Job Summary
Leading a team of data engineers and architects, the full-time remote Director of Data Platforms will oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of secure and scalable data platforms while aligning with broader product and AI strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs a department of data professionals to achieve strategic goals for data platforms
- Owns the quality and governance of data pipelines and platforms, implementing standards and metrics
- Partners with senior leadership to shape the data platform vision and strategy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or software engineering, with a strong technical background
- Proven experience with Snowflake, including architecture and performance tuning
- Experience managing multi-layered data engineering teams in complex environments
- Demonstrated expertise in data governance and metadata management practices
