Director of Data Products

Job Summary

To drive the transformation of proprietary datasets into valuable products, the full-time salaried Director of Data Products will define and manage the data product strategy, oversee the product lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the data product strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value opportunities for monetization and customer engagement
• Lead the evolution of datasets into a governed data ecosystem, ensuring data quality and reliability while managing external data supplier relationships
• Engage with customers to identify unmet needs and translate insights into product features and enhancements, representing the company at industry events

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, particularly in building and scaling data products in enterprise SaaS environments
• Proven experience in turning raw data assets into differentiated products or revenue-generating capabilities
• Deep understanding of data ecosystems, including pipelines, architectures, and governance
• Experience managing third-party data licensing and supplier relationships
• Strong user research instincts with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear product direction
