Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Science to lead and grow its data science team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the data science vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists while fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation
• Oversee the full lifecycle of machine learning models and ensure best practices in data governance and model reproducibility

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science or machine learning roles, including 3+ years in a leadership position
• Advanced degree (PhD/MS) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models at scale in production environments
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling and causal inference
