Director of Data Science

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Science to provide technical and organizational leadership for data science products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor teams of data scientists, product managers, and analysts to meet project goals
• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of data science products from inception to deployment
• Establish and standardize tooling and process frameworks to ensure quality and maintainability of data science products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's/PhD preferred
• 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and generative AI
• Expertise in SQL and Python, with experience in structured and unstructured data
• Experience with data processing, ETL tools, and cloud deployments
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams
