Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Data Science to lead complex technical initiatives and oversee the development of data science models.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the technical roadmap for data science models and scalable data products
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through launch, ensuring accountability and quality standards
• Hire, mentor, and develop senior technical talent while fostering a high-performing team culture

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science or ML engineering roles, with 5+ years in management
• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in statistics, econometrics, machine learning, or a related field
• Strong foundation in causal inference, time series analysis, and experimental design
• Experience designing and deploying ML systems at scale in collaboration with engineering teams
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, along with experience in modern data platforms and MLOps practices
