Director of Data Science

Job Summary

Driving continuous improvement of marketing strategies, the remote Director of Data Science in Performance Marketing will lead a team focused on optimizing bidding systems, enhancing operational processes, and advancing applied machine learning to maximize marketing effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Advance performance marketing capabilities through improvements in bidding systems and automation
• Lead a multidisciplinary team managing a nine-figure annual marketing budget while ensuring rigorous measurement of business impact
• Develop strategic relationships with marketing and technology partners to enhance business performance and drive growth initiatives

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (PhD preferred) with 8+ years of experience applying advanced quantitative methods
• 4+ years of experience leading technical organizations and developing leaders
• Proven experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning systems in production environments
• Proficiency with AWS or similar platforms for deploying machine learning systems at scale
• Ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams and align priorities toward shared objectives
