Director of Data Science

Job Summary

Leading the Data Science & Engineering department, the full-time remote Director of Data Science will develop and execute a data strategy, foster a data-centric culture, and oversee teams responsible for data analytics, engineering, and platform capabilities to enhance organizational insights and product experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with organizational leaders to align data strategy with growth goals and partnerships
• Advocate for AI/ML-driven products while building scalable machine learning infrastructure
• Guide the evolution of data systems, tools, and architecture to meet organizational needs

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing and leading data teams
• 2+ years of experience leading data organizations of 20 or more
• Expertise in data science for strategic decision-making and quantitative analysis
• Strong familiarity with data engineering and high-performance big data infrastructure
• Experience building production-grade ML/AI systems, including model deployment
