Director of Data Security

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Data Security, the full-time role will lead enterprise data protection, cloud security, and API security initiatives while collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure secure cloud adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Establish enterprise data classification, handling, and protection standards while overseeing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls
• Define secure cloud architectures and implement cloud workload protection and CSPM capabilities
• Lead the development of the enterprise API security strategy, including authentication and data protection standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of nine years of experience in data, cloud, or security protection roles, including leadership
• Proven experience leading data security and cloud security programs
• Possession or progress towards relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms and data security technologies
