Director of Data Strategy

Job Summary

To support a growing nonprofit organization, the full-time remote Director of Data Strategy will manage data-driven decision-making processes, build and maintain user-friendly dashboards, and ensure effective data infrastructure while collaborating across various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the measurement and monitoring of organizational goals, ensuring metrics are visible and utilized effectively
• Translate outcomes data into compelling narratives for stakeholders and equip teams with data-backed materials
• Maintain and evolve data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring reliability and adaptability to organizational needs

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of professional experience working with data, preferably in the nonprofit or impact sector
• Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience in data analysis and dashboard creation for non-technical audiences
• Experience in evaluating program data, designing outcomes measurement, and grant reporting
• Ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights and narratives for various stakeholders
• Proven track record of building trust and collaborating effectively across diverse teams
