Director of Demand Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the design and optimization of SonicWall's global demand engine, the full-time remote Director of Demand Engineering will architect a coordinated system of data, technology, and marketing strategies to drive measurable revenue outcomes while managing integrated marketing and marketing operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the global demand engine, optimizing the full go-to-market motion from awareness to pipeline creation
• Oversee marketing operations and the digital marketing stack, ensuring effective governance and continuous evolution of systems and processes
• Develop channel-integrated demand strategies that activate distributors and partners to generate pipeline on behalf of SonicWall

Required qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on demand leadership or marketing operations
• Proven experience managing marketing technology stacks and understanding their governance and evolution
• Deep understanding of channel-led and partner-led go-to-market models, including multi-tier distribution and through-partner marketing
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams across multiple functional areas
• Strong data literacy, with experience in building attribution models and analyzing pipeline performance
