Director of Demand Planning
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Director of Demand Planning, the full-time remote position will manage demand forecasting, inventory allocation, and S&OP processes across multiple sales channels while leading a small team and implementing automated solutions to enhance planning efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Own the consolidated rolling 12-month demand forecast across all channels and drive forecast accuracy
- Lead the monthly S&OP process, building consensus and accountability across cross-functional teams
- Prioritize and allocate constrained inventory, making data-driven decisions on channel distribution
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in demand, inventory, merchandise, or supply chain planning, with 2-3 years leading a planning function
- Multichannel experience across DTC e-commerce, Amazon/marketplaces, wholesale, and physical retail
- Experience in fashion, jewelry, or accessories preferred; otherwise, consumer goods with high SKU counts
- Engineering degree or equivalent quantitative field; proficiency in advanced modeling and BI tools
- Proven ability to build planning discipline from spreadsheets and BI tools without existing infrastructure
