Director of Denial Services

Job Summary

To enhance yield performance through denial mitigation initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Denial Transformation Services will lead strategy development, conduct deep analyses on clinical and technical denials, and serve as the primary client contact, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to improve denial mitigation processes and yield performance
• Analyze denial trends and conduct root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improvement
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with hospital leadership and stakeholders to recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline; degree in Healthcare Administration preferred
• 5+ years of experience in hospital revenue cycle roles, with at least 2 years in a management position
• Familiarity with hospital accounting and EMR systems
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access
