Director of Derivatives Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Derivatives Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead derivatives accounting and financial reporting for a diverse range of derivative positions
• Manage hedge accounting programs and ensure compliance with US GAAP and statutory accounting
• Oversee the design and execution of control environments and liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 5 - 7+ years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or related fields
• 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with SOX 404 control design and operation
• Proficiency in converting complex derivative topics into accounting entries and disclosures
