Director of Design

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Design to lead the design function through a pivotal transition towards autonomous operational intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and empower the design team through hiring, mentorship, and building necessary culture and processes
• Take ownership of both strategy and execution as the company transitions to autonomous operational intelligence
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to enhance the AI-powered post-purchase intelligence platform

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product and UX Design experience, particularly with AI-powered products
• 5+ years of team leadership and management experience in design
• Experience in e-commerce or fintech, especially in high-stakes transactional environments
• Experience designing B2B products, admin interfaces, and customer-facing resolution flows
• Experience with AI explainability and autonomous decision systems is a strong differentiator
