Director of Design

Job Summary

Leading a team of product designers, the full-time salaried Director of Design will set the vision and strategy for Vanta's Risk product area, ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Set the design vision and strategy for the Risk product area, focusing on customer understanding and risk management
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of product designers, fostering a culture of craft and accountability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape strategy and deliver cohesive customer experiences across the product

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in digital product design, particularly in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
• 4+ years of experience managing product designers, including hiring and performance management
• Proven track record in designing intuitive workflows for complex, data-rich products
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in risk management, cybersecurity, or related domains is a plus
