Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Director of Detection Response will develop and implement a comprehensive incident response strategy, oversee threat detection platform integration, and manage incident response efforts while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a detection and incident response strategy aligned with organizational risk and compliance requirements
- Oversee the configuration and optimization of threat detection platforms to enhance cybersecurity effectiveness
- Establish and maintain a robust incident response framework, serving as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity incidents
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 8 years in a leadership role focused on threat detection and response
- Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity tools and methodologies, including threat intelligence and forensic analysis
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS)
- US Citizenship with eligibility for security clearance
