Director of Developer Experience

Job Summary

Leading a multi-team organization, the full-time remote Director of Developer Experience will manage Infrastructure Services and Developer Tooling, driving the integration of AI across the software development lifecycle while enhancing developer productivity and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams focused on CI/CD orchestration and internal developer platforms
• Define and execute the vision for developer experience, including AI-augmented workflows
• Drive the strategy and rollout of AI tooling across the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering management
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling developer experience or DevOps organizations
• Hands-on familiarity with modern CI/CD and developer tooling stacks
• Practical experience with AI developer tooling and its impact on the software development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud-native deployment patterns
