Director of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and submit grants, manage grant reporting systems, and research foundation grant deadlines
• Maintain fundraising plans and manage development data needs
• Work with major donors and individuals to build pipelines toward sustained support

Qualifications:

• Past experience with fundraising, preferably in nonprofits or civic organizations
• Demonstrated experience in solicitation and fundraising plans
• Passion for relevant fields and commitment to power-sharing and civic engagement practices
• Motivated, self-managing, and able to build proactive systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to align organizational strategy with narratives
