Director of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Development to lead its fundraising efforts and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy across various channels
• Build and manage a donor pipeline, including prospecting and stewardship
• Establish systems for tracking donor activity and revenue performance

Required Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in fundraising, political finance, or nonprofit development
• Demonstrated success in raising funds through major donor programs or grassroots efforts
• Experience managing donor pipelines and fundraising systems
• Experience with 501(c)(4) organizations, advocacy groups, or political campaigns preferred
• Familiarity with fundraising tools such as NGP VAN or ActBlue
