Director of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Development or Chief Advancement Officer to manage and implement a strategic vision for its fundraising program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organization's development efforts, including creating and executing a $2M+ annual fundraising plan
• Develop major gifts program and cultivate relationships with institutional funders and high-net-worth individuals
• Collaborate with leadership and Board members to support fundraising initiatives and report on performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of fundraising experience with increasing responsibility
• Management or leadership experience preferred, with a track record of developing staff
• Experience in cultivating and soliciting major gifts ($10,000+)
• Understanding of CRM systems for managing donor relationships
• Familiarity with healthcare and/or disability strongly preferred
