Director of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Development to manage and cultivate relationships with funding partners and support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies across various giving streams
• Manage relationships with existing and prospective funders, ensuring effective communication and stewardship
• Lead a team to achieve ambitious fundraising goals while supporting the co-CEOs in external partnerships

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Proven experience managing a portfolio with multiple six-, seven-, and eight-figure donations
• Experience leading a strategic team to meet or exceed fundraising goals
• Direct experience in building external partnerships with senior leadership
• Commitment to the organization's mission and values, particularly in advancing upward mobility for low-wage workers
• Experience with Salesforce and familiarity with the workforce development sector is a plus
