Director of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development strategy in partnership with senior leadership and a fundraising consultant
• Lead the creation and maintenance of written development materials for donor outreach
• Manage outreach to major donors and foundations, including relationship tracking and engagement strategies

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in nonprofit or political fundraising/development
• Experience in nonprofit development or related roles at progressive organizations
• Familiarity with major donor and foundation fundraising
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commitment to the organization's mission and values
