Director of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Development to lead fundraising and advancement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure at least $2.3M annually
• Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate sponsors and institutional foundations
• Lead and mentor a high-performing development team while overseeing marketing and public engagement efforts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in development with a proven track record in fundraising
• Experience in corporate donor cultivation and securing five and six-figure gifts
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams
• Solid network of contacts within corporations and foundations interested in LGBTQ+ and entrepreneurial initiatives
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
