Director of Development

Job Summary

As a remote full-time Director of Development, the successful candidate will manage the Walk to Defeat ALS events and other revenue-generating opportunities across multiple states, focusing on building relationships with constituents to enhance fundraising efforts and support the organization's mission.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a team of fundraising staff across Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana, overseeing event planning and execution
• Develop and implement engagement and fundraising strategies to maximize revenue from events
• Analyze fundraising data to forecast revenue and identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3-5 years of nonprofit development experience, with 1-2 years in a management role preferred
• Proven experience in special event fundraising, particularly with Walks and Galas
• Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on corporate partnerships and sponsorships
• Proficient in MS Office, database management, and web-based software programs
