Director of Development

Job Summary

To drive sustainable revenue growth, the remote Director of Development will design and execute major gifts strategies, cultivate high-value donor relationships, and manage a diversified funding pipeline while collaborating with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of high-value donors, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts of $100,000 or more
• Develop and execute engagement plans for key accounts, ensuring high-quality interactions and alignment with organizational goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling funding opportunities and support the positioning of the organization's value proposition

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 6-8 years of progressive fundraising experience with a focus on major gifts
• Proven track record of securing six-figure gifts and managing high-value donor portfolios
• Strong relationship management skills with experience engaging senior executives and stakeholders
• Experience working with corporate partners, foundations, and/or membership-based organizations preferred
