Director of Development and Communications

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Development and Communications, this full-time remote position will lead fundraising and communications strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility while managing a team and fostering donor engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated fundraising and communications strategies to achieve annual revenue goals of $2-2.5M
• Oversee the growth and management of donor relationships, ensuring effective stewardship and compelling messaging across all communications
• Manage departmental budgets and cross-team projects, while designing innovative approaches to donor engagement and community accessibility

Required qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of experience in fundraising and communications with a focus on donor prospecting and stewardship
• Proven management and strategic planning experience, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience in developing and leading integrated campaigns that connect fundraising goals with storytelling and audience engagement
• Strong background in overseeing online giving platforms and managing donor data and trends
• Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and invest in new ideas while maintaining core organizational priorities
