Director of DevOps

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of DevOps to lead and scale their DevOps and platform engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers while defining and evolving the DevOps strategy
• Own and improve cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency
• Standardize CI/CD practices and drive observability and reliability improvements across engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in a cloud-first environment with hands-on leadership in DevOps or platform teams
• Strong proficiency with AWS services and experience in implementing scalable cloud architectures
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and experience managing CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on software development background with experience in writing and shipping production code
