Job Summary
Leading a team of DevOps engineers, the full-time Director of DevOps will manage cloud infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and observability practices to enhance product delivery while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, defining clear goals and fostering a collaborative culture
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency
- Standardize CI/CD practices across engineering teams to improve delivery speed and predictability
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in a cloud-first environment, supporting scalable cloud architectures using CaC, IaC, and Kubernetes
- Strong proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, and RDS
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines or GitHub Actions
- Hands-on software development background with experience writing and shipping production code
