Job Summary

Leading a team of Engineering Managers, the full-time Director of Digital Commerce Engineering will develop high-performing engineering teams and drive the long-term strategy for digital platforms, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, while working in a hybrid environment based in Asheville, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coach Engineering Managers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
• Define and execute the engineering strategy for the Digital Commerce Platform, enhancing scalability and platform consistency
• Build trusted partnerships across various departments to align engineering investments with customer needs and business priorities

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and developing engineering leaders
• Strong background in digital product engineering and platform strategy
• Experience with architectural consistency and cloud-native principles
• Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs and align cross-functional initiatives
