Director of Digital Forensics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) to oversee incident response engagements and manage a team of forensic professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee client-facing incident response engagements from detection to recovery
• Build strong client relationships and communicate effectively regarding incident scope and updates
• Mentor and develop a team of 3-5 forensic professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience managing cybersecurity engagements, including incident response and digital forensics
• Proven ability to mentor teams and manage members ranging from 3-5 individuals
• Experience with security investigations in Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
